FAQ
Where do you shoot?
I have an all-white studio in Keller, TX where I shoot lifestyle newborn and sibling portraiture. For families, I mainly shoot outdoors in the mid-cities area of Dallas/Fort Worth. Occasionally, I will travel throughout the metroplex for an additional fee.
How many photos will I receive?
This depends on the type of session you book. Since I spend time editing each individual session, you could receive 10-75 images depending on the type of session it is.
What do I wear?
First of all, plan early! This is such an important step to timeless imagery. With my portraits, I lean towards a simple, neutral aesthetic, so I have curated a client wardrobe consisting of dresses for women and options for children, should you prefer. I will also send you a Portrait Planning Guide to help you achieve a curated look for your whole family.
What kind of gear do you use?
I am currently utilizing a digital Canon mirrorless R6 camera paired with a 35mm or 50mm sigma art lens.
Do I have to order prints through you?
This option is available to you through my online viewing portal; however, you are also welcome to print your images at a facility of your choice.
Are you an event photographer?
I am not an event photographer, but I do capture milestone sessions in-studio with cake smashes and balloons!
I will also capture headshots for clients of all ages in my studio.
What is your editing style?
Through my location choice, client wardrobe options and editing technique, I aim for an overall light, clean, neutral aesthetic. I prefer candid, authentic imagery, versus posed smiling, but I spend time at every session capturing this image as well!
